J D NEUHAUS AT EXPO PACK EXHIBIT THEIR AIR OPERATED HOISTS
J D Neuhaus LP will be exhibiting in booth 3733 at the Expo Pack Mexico 2011 exhibition being held at Centro Banamex – Mexico City during June 21st – 24th. An air operated hoist rated for food production, processing and packaging operations will be exhibited. Other areas of operation include clean rooms and pharmaceuticals manufacture, or wherever high levels of hygiene are to be maintained during lifting and handling.
This air operated hoist is a JDN Mini 500 with a lift capacity of 500kg, designed to meet the highest standards of performance, reliability and economy. This hoist is manufactured with FDA approved paint and is equipped with a patented oil-free air motor, with both the motor and gearbox being fully sealed units. The Mini hoists are suitable for both fixed single point mounting and overhead rail mounting via trolley where load traversing operations are required. A filtered or piped exhaust air system can be supplied and operating lubricants are food grade. High grade stainless steel chains, lift hooks and trolley wheels ensure Class 1 Div 1 spark resistance, compatible with the protection levels of general wash-down or chemical cleaning procedures required for all hygiene critical applications.
Also being exhibited is a standard, or non-food grade JDN Mini hoist with a 125kg lift capacity. This hoist is also equipped with a manipulator unit which provides safe and effective single handed lift and lower operation of loads. The Mini range of hoists also includes both 250 and 1000kg load units, suitable for a wide range of general engineering handling requirements, including wherever an explosion classification Ex II 3 GD IIA T4(X)is required.
Other air operated hoists available in the JDN range of food-grade handling equipment include Profi hoists and trolleys providing lift capacities from 250 – 2000kg, together with low headroom hoists with 500 – 2000kg ratings and ultra-low monorail hoists from 4 -16 tons capacity. Big bag handling hoists in single hook (1 ton) and twin hook (2 ton) variations can also be supplied. These products feature nickel plated hoists and trolleys with smooth, easy to clean surfaces which are unaffected by dusty atmospheres created when handling powdered or granulated materials.
